Randy Orton is one of the prime stars of the last 15 years in WWE. He's been one of the more consistent wrestlers in the ring and involved in some of the bigger feuds over the last 14 years. But what's his best? Well, today, we narrow down the top 5 feuds of his career in WWE. Let's get into it.
5. Randy Orton vs Christian
-This would be ranked even higher if it went on for a few matches. The chemistry between these two was amazing and their matches at Money In the Bank 2011, Summerslam, and on the May 6th 2011 episode of Smackdown are close to being classics. Christian and Orton on paper sounded like a regular Smackdown main event or mid card feud but it was a true top tier feud in the company for months.
4. Randy Orton vs The Undertaker
-This was the feud that really made Orton a known star in WWE. He had won the title before, but had been pretty much stagnant until his Legend Killer gimmick was rejuvenated in the highest form as fought against Taker all 2005. He would lose at Wrestlemania 21, but win at Summerslam and No Mercy, before a big loss at Armageddon in Hell In A Cell. This was a classic feud and probably the overall most entertaining due to length of feud.
3. Randy Orton vs John Cena
-I am not a big fan of this feud personally, but it's probably the most successful feud for Orton in his career overall. These two would go back and forth over the course of 3 years feuding and would be looked at as an essential feud in the PG Era, maybe the most essential.
2. Randy Orton vs Triple H
-This was his first big feud in the company and one of the more entertaining feuds off and on as HHH and Orton had great chemistry and some good matches including the Last Man Standing match at No Mercy 2007, which was the best match between the two. This was the longest feud of Orton's career and on any other list, it would be no. I. What's his best?
1. Randy Orton vs Mick Foley
-This was short. But it got the job done. From 2003 until Backlash 2004, Foley took Orton to new limits in matches and in a feud. Their moments on RAW were absolutely entertaining. Foley was really in his zone and would bring good promos, The Rock, and the best match in Orton's career as well. No doubt this is no. 1 on the list.
The question is will he add to the list? Perhaps we will add Seth, Balor, Owens, or any of those on this list one day? Time will tell.
-True
